Job Details
YOVU is looking for a Channel Sales Executive expert to help build, grow and champion our new channel partner program. The Sales Executive will be responsible for assisting in the launch of the YOVU channel partner program and to develop and nurture strategic channel partners across Ontario and parts of Canada. The Channel Sales Executives will be compensated on the revenue generated by partners so you must be able to train, coach, motivate and build relationships with our partners sales employees. The compensation is base salary plus commission. Position Responsibilities

  • Source new channel partners through outbound cold calls and emails, including researching accounts and identifying the key players
  • Initiates sales process by scheduling appointments, making presentations and regular touch base follow ups
  • Need to think outside the box to drive expansion
  • Work with partners prospects; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts
  • Achieve monthly sales quotas
  • Collaborate with operations and technical teams on deployments, hand hold new partners.
  • Pipeline management and reporting
  • Build effective presentations and assist with marketing ideas
  • Assist with some direct sales (outside of partners)

Education and experience required

  • Post-secondary education (University degree or 3 year College diploma)
  • 2-3 years minimum experience in B2B sales
  • Channel Partner and telecommunications experience an asset
